We conduct screening programs for the general public to test their status on Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C virus by providing free or subsidized testing facilities. ‘I Beat Hepatitis’ is a public service campaign to organize Hepatitis screening camps, initiated by Fulford. The first leg of this campaign took off in Delhi, Lucknow & Patna on December 4, 2008 with the aim of creating awareness among the general public and health workers.
In Delhi, this initiative was a free Hepatitis B vaccination campaign for all the children of Delhi under the Delhi Government’s Health Scheme. Dr S K Sarin (designation) & Hon. Chief Minister Mrs. Sheila Dixit were present on the occasion.
In Lucknow, approximately 200 school children participated in a rally wearing T-shirts with the slogan -”I Beat Hepatitis” at Sahara Mall and spread Hepatitis awareness.
